Who we are
Monica Mentoring (M&M) is a family-owned organization dedicated to providing targeted support programs for everyone, including serving girls and women who have special needs. Rooted in personal passion and deep community connections in the Coachella Valley, we promote personal growth and independence, foster social awareness, and cultivate a community of support where every individual can thrive with confidence and capability.
At M&M, our mission is to empower all populations by teaching essential social and life skills in a safe, inclusive, and fun environment. Our goal is to inspire lasting friendships and meaningful memories that enrich lives through personalized education, immersive experiences, and shared community support in the Coachella Valley.

Community Engagement
M&M hosts various special events & activity-enriching experiences to foster community building, encourage movement & relaxation for participants. Our immersive experiences offer personalized guidance, interactive activities, & real-world practice to empower members by enhancing confidence, communication skills, & connections that foster social & emotional growth in a supportive and fun environment.
Recent highlights include: Awards Celebration, Pizza-Making Sessions, Karaoke Nights, PJ Parties, Holiday Program Specials, Spirit Weeks, Dance Nights, Movie Premiere Events, Dance, Yoga, PT, & Zumba.
Arts & Crafts
M&M offers a creative outlet for our community to engage in various unique opportunities for creative self-expressive art projects & activities that enhance confidence, fine motor skills & a sense of accomplishment within a supportive environment to foster friendships & life skills through interactive hands-on experiences and practical crafting skills that encourage independence that leaves a fun lasting impact!
Participants engage in: Colorful art projects, DIY craft creations, Personalized gift creations, Creative writing, Journaling, Music, Art & Painting Classes, and Practical crafting skills that encourage independence.
Life Classes
M&M provides tools for independence, practical knowledge, personalized coaching & hands-on training in essential daily living skills, tailored to build competency & confidence in self-advocacy, decision-making & problem-solving, to help navigate everyday life more successfully & autonomously.
Key topic areas: Safety Awareness, Health Management, Cooking & nutritional workshops, Money management, Personal hygiene, and self-care (ADLs/IADLs).
Social Skills
M&M empowers our clients by enhancing their confidence, communication skills, and connections. We offer programs that provide personalized guidance, interactive activities, and real-world practice in a supportive environment to foster social and emotional growth.

WHAT WE DO
Monica Mentoring provides a diverse range of programs designed to enhance life skills, creativity, emotional well-being, & social development.
Our offerings include:

1:1 Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
These individualized sessions will be tailored to each participant's unique goals and may focus on supporting communication development, social and behavioral skills, emotional regulation, anxiety management, independence, daily living skills, and reducing behaviors that interfere with learning or participation. Every therapy plan will be personalized to support meaningful progress and help each individual reach their fullest potential in a personalized and encouraging environment. ABA is an evidence-based approach that is commonly used to support communication, adaptive skills, and other individualized goals. Offered to both men and women.

Enrichment Classes
Our goal is to provide meaningful opportunities that promote independence, confidence, wellness, and lasting friendships by engaging in our various programs and events available for all individuals.
Weekly Offerings:
Adaptive Fitness Class
Fun and engaging movement-based activities including yoga, zumba, dance, fitness, & a combination of multiple styles to keep participants active & engaged!
Classes will be held every Thursday from 1:00–2:00 PM at Monica Mentoring
Adaptive Art & Painting Class
These inclusive, co-ed classes provide a fun, creative, and supportive environment where participants can express themselves, build friendships, and explore art at their own pace.

Spanish Communication Club
Participants will have the opportunity to build confidence through conversational Spanish, interactive games, music, and cultural activities in a fun and supportive environment.
Monthly Special Events
Enjoy a special afternoon with certified therapy animals while promoting emotional wellness, relaxation, and social engagement.
Paws & Pals Therapy
An evening designed to support our families through educational workshops, guest speakers, and discussions on topics that matter most.
Parent Education Night
Parents can enjoy a well-deserved evening off while participants spend a fun, safe, and engaging night with friends at Monica Mentoring.
Monica Respite Night
Participants will enjoy a fun, instructor-led painting experience in a relaxed and social atmosphere while creating their own masterpiece.
Evening Paint & Sip
A cozy movie night complete with popcorn, snacks, and great company!
Friday Flicks Movie Night
A themed social event each month featuring music, games, dancing, crafts, and opportunities to build meaningful friendships and create lasting memories.

Eden Monica
CEO, Founder, & ABA Therapist
Eden, the visionary behind M&M, holds a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Exercise Science & Special Education. As a new mother and businesswoman, she is committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for special needs girls and women. Her inspiration for founding Monica Mentoring comes from her sister, Tali.

Silvia Rocha
Senior Behavioral Consultant & Spanish Program Director
Silvia is a senior behavioral consultant with over 22 years of experience working with the special community in the Coachella Valley. She is committed to providing excellent social & life skills to our community that is inclusive to all as our bilingual administrator & the lead coordinator for the Spanish-speaking programs available at M&M.

Jaqueline flores
Assistant Behavioral Consultant
Jackie is a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Caregiver with 6+ years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, skilled in fostering communication and promoting independence through positive reinforcement & life skills training.

Chanel Monica, PT, DPT
Doctor of Physical Therapy
In 2013, Chanel began pursuing her education at SDSU to receive her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Pre-Physical Therapy before continuing her education at the University of St. Augustine for Health Science where she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2021.

Kritzia Regalado
Director of Clinical Administration
Kritzia has over 10 years of experience in the medical field, specializing in supporting individuals with disabilities. As a mother of three, she brings compassion, patience, and dedication to her work and is passionate about providing quality care and making a positive impact in the lives of those she serves.

Tali Monica
Director of Programming
Tali, a dedicated advocate for women and girls in her community, serves as the Director of Programming at M&M. She loves horses, Taylor Swift, and being an auntie. Her role focuses on ensuring that M&M’s programs provide meaningful experiences that foster empowerment, growth, and inclusion.
